New Middlesex County Boss Peter Barnes Lays Claim to Your Money
Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 10:48PM
In predictable Democrat fashion, newly installed Middlesex chieftain Peter Barnes had a few choice words for Middlesex County taxpayers and Governor Christie:
That was a moment of solidarity for Democrats," the new chairman said, referring to Christie's decision to cut $900 million from the state budget Democrats submitted to him last week. "Christie was an unknown quantity when he won. Now he's known - by this budget. People are starting to pay attention. The governor has decimated the foundations of the Democratic Party.
If only that were true.
In response, Councilman Cahill had this to say:
After taking over for the bribe taking, corrupt Sheriff Spicuzzo, Peter Barnes hasn't learned a thing about why Middlesex County voted for Governor Christie and why the Republicans will be victorious in Middlesex County in 2011. The voters have had ENOUGH. The $900 million that Governor Christie cut from the budget was nothing more than a political football used by the Democrats in an election year. The supposed revenue that they put in their budget was nothing more than a figment of their imagination and was not based in fact. Hey Chairman Barnes, it's not your money, it's the taxpayers money and we are done with these gimmicks and schemes.
Watch what they do ladies and gentlemen, not what they say. This Democrat Party and particularly the Middlesex County variety will say and do anything to retake power in New Jersey. It's all lies mind you, but their lust for power is insatiable.
For eight years in New Jersey and in Old Bridge, Democrats have spent your grandchildren down the river with absolutely no remorse.
Don't let them fool you. This November, it's time to put Old Bridge (and keep New Jersey) Back on the Right Track!
