Razzoli & Tier Announce Campaign for Old Bridge Council

OLD BRIDGE, NJ–Republican Mark Razzoli is running for election to the 4th Ward council seat that he occupied from 2018-2022.  Razzoli currently serves as a Commissioner on the Old Bridge Municipal Utilities Authority.

Razzoli is running alongside Ward 6 candidate Stacey Tier, a local medical professional who has been active in the community as a Girl Scout leader, class mom, and CCD teacher at St. Thomas the Apostle.

“We are running to stop the radical Democrat Party agenda in Old Bridge,” said Razzoli.  “We will prioritize public safety and parental rights.  We will vote to control spending and taxes, and promote efficiency in the township government.  We will oppose overdevelopment and Governor Murphy’s sanctuary state policies,” said Tier.

During his first term, Razzoli walked away from the Democrat Party after it swung radically left.  He is loyal to his beliefs and principles, not to party bosses of any description.  “I didn’t leave the Democrat Party; it left me,” said Razzoli, echoing Ronald Reagan’s famous words.

A long-time union member, Razzoli is a retired Jersey City Police Detective, and a member of Jersey City Police POBA and New Jersey State FOP.  He attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice.  Razzoli and his wife have lived in Old Bridge for 19 years.  The couple has a daughter who attends college in Pennsylvania.

Tier works for a local podiatrist and has been in the medical field for 30 years. She has lived in Old Bridge for 30 years with her husband of 34 years. The couple has two grown children.

Since the party line has been abolished and the endorsement of party committees rendered irrelevant, Razzoli and Tier will take their message directly to Old Bridge Republican voters. The Republican Primary will be held on June 10, 2025.
